Miss New Booty

One of the best feelings in the world, for a shopaholic and shoeaholic like myself, is finding out something you fell in love with before is now on sale at a very affordable price.  Hence the new booty in my life!

I originally found these ankle boots by Sam Edelman and tried them on at Town Shoes back in October-November of last year.  I fell in love with them when I tried them on.  The gold block heel was everything to me.  It was the perfect boot to wear to the office and out for a night on the town.  However, at the time, Christmas was around the corner and I wasn’t convinced that spending $150 for them was the right thing to do.  At the time.  I walked away pretty bummed out.

The box is cute!

Last week, as I was browsing through Hudson’s Bay online (like I always seem to be), I saw them.  OMG, I went a tad bit crazy in my office chair, let me tell you.  It was on SALE.  It was on sale for $52.50!!  All I had left to do was click on it and see if my size was even available.  Size 7 is such an average size for women’s feet, I was a little pessimistic ..

THERE WAS A SIZE 7!.. and a 7.5 – which I would’ve bought because I loved it so much.  I couldn’t believe it.  I instantly grabbed it for my cart and headed to checkout.

There was a bit of trouble at checkout, telling me many times that there was ‘insufficient inventory’ of the boot.  Trust me, I refreshed my browser about 50 times and deleted cookies (I don’t even really know what cookies are).  I wasn’t able to grab them in the morning, so I decided to try again after my lunch break.  Thank goodness I was finally able to buy them that afternoon.  With shipping and tax, it cost me $63.  Seriously, what a steal.

Honestly, what’s not to luv!

The boots came about a week later and I couldn’t contain my excitement.  I absolutely love these boots!  I’ve already worn them twice at work and received compliments on them!  The heel is a bit over 3 inches (from eyeballing) but because of the block heel, walking in them is extremely easy and comfortable (at least for me).  It doesn’t even feel like I’m walking on my tippy-toes.

I can’t wait to wear these out on Friday night when one of my besties are in town for the weekend!!
